Main properties of PTFE:
The PTFE hose liner resists all wide used chemicals and solvents except molten alkali metals, Fluorine Gas, Chlorine Trifluoride, Oxygen Difluoride. It’s absolutely resistant againts oxygen, UV rays, light, ozone. Very low coefficient of friction from 0.02 to 0.2.
Cover: standard cover is single wire braid made with AISI304.
Temperature range: constant temperature -60ºC to +260ºC.
CAUTION:
If working temperature is higher than 120ºC neecesserily reduce working pressure by 1% per addotional degree C.
Application: due to the high temperature range and chemical resistance to most substances, this type of hose is used for transmission of water vapor, adhesives, paints, solvents, oils, fuels, dyes and chemicals and foodstuffs.
